8K a year Our North Webster facility is adding a Quality Technician to the team.
Job Summary To monitor processes and products to ensure quality parts are being produced and sent to our customers.
Key Duties & Responsibilities Help to meet and maintain CTPAT Compliance guidelines.
Audit products to assure they are meeting customer expectations.
To ensure customer packaging expectations are met.
To ensure proper labels are placed on outside of boxes in proper location.
Accurately fill out scrap, and other quality documentation that is required.
Complete product measurements/testing as required.
Alert Supervisor or Plant manager when processing problems arise.
Assist other operators when needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Safety - maintain a safe work environment through the safe work practices established by Group Dekko.
Read and follow the General Safety and Housekeeping Rules that are posted within your facility.
Report any unsafe conditions to your immediate Supervisor.
Occasional travel to customers.
Create labels Create PI's ETQ Data Base maintenance LX - BPICS transactions Create and review NCM's Create and update operator instructions including visual aids, sample boards and control plans.
Create and update forms, rework instructions, shipping and receiving instructions.
Create quality alerts Create scrap and NCM cage reports.
Assist with gage calibration Creating and updating RMA's, customer/supplier corrective action.
Internal audits, LPA's and UL/CSA audits PPAP Knowledge and Skills Must have excellent written/verbal communication skills.
Education, Certificates & or Experience High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
